Humax AI Inc. respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we store and protect it, and the choices you have. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Who we are
Humax AI Inc. is a Canadian company based in Burnaby, British Columbia. We are an AI literacy and education platform. We do not own, develop, or operate any AI system — we teach women how to use publicly available third-party AI tools.

2. What information we collect
Information you provide directly: Name and email address (when you create an account, enroll in a program, or sign up for our newsletter); billing information processed securely through Shopify; and any communications you send us.
Information collected automatically: Basic site usage information through analytics; cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy); and device and browser information for security purposes.
Information we do not collect: Sensitive personal information such as health records or government IDs; and anything you enter into third-party AI tools — we have no access to that data.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information only to: deliver the programs you enroll in; send confirmation emails, course access, and customer support; send our newsletter (only if you've opted in); improve our website and content; and meet our legal and tax obligations. We will never sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing purposes other than our own.

Some providers are located outside Canada. By using our site, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions.

6. How we protect your information
All data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption. Payment processing is handled by Shopify (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). We do not store full payment card details. Access to your information is limited to those who need it to do their job.
7. Your rights under PIPEDA
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent for optional processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to connect@humaxai.ca with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's privacy
Our programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we will post the updated version here and update the Last updated date. For material changes, we will email registered users.
